Barbera d’Alba

Vineyard: Bricco Cichetta is a very old vineyard, older than 50 years old, located in Madonna di Como at the top of a hill, with 360-degree exposure to limestone and clay. Altitude between 300 and 340 meters above sea level.

Vinification: Stainless steel fermentation at a controlled temperature between 28 and 30 degrees for the duration of about 10 days, frequent replacements, and subsequent performance of malolactic fermentation.

Refining: 12 months in the large Slovenian oak barrels.

Food pairings: It goes very well with braised or grilled beef, pasta with mushroom, and other Italian dishes.
