While we can’t let you inside our building for the time being, we have created an outdoor beer garden, where you can have brewery-fresh beer on tap, just blocks from the ocean at Pleasure Point. We have tables that allow small groups to enjoy themselves with safe social distancing.

Dan is firing up the ceramic Kamado grill, smoking brisket and pulled pork, sausages and more, and has created some amazing marinades and sauces. We will expand our menu gradually, but if you like delicious BBQ, you’ll love his cooking.

The beer garden+BBQ is open Wednesday and Thursday 3 to 9 PM, and Friday through Sunday 12 to 9 PM.

NuBo beer in 16oz cans and NuBo merch can be purchased online, and is available for pickup, local delivery, or via shipping in CA.

• Pickup: Beer purchased online can be picked up Wednesday-Sunday, 12-9 PM. Be prepared to show your ID
• Local Delivery: We offer local delivery (free for orders over $50, or $5 for orders under $50) to addresses in Santa Cruz, Capitola, Soquel and Aptos. Deliveries are made on Wednesdays and Fridays between 1 and 5 pm

• Our driver will contact you before leaving the brewery, to assure an adult (21+) with valid ID can be present to receive the order.

• Shipping in CA: We can now ship orders in California. We use GSO ground shipping, which usually takes 2-4 days to arrive from the time your order is placed. We charge a flat $20 fee for shipping, whether it is one 4-pack or a couple cases of beer. A confirmation and tracking number will be provided when your order is shipped. An adult signature is required to receive delivery, so no PO boxes, please.

The pandemic has been a challenge, of course. We are making every effort to adjust our operations to survive the disruption while assuring safety. You can help businesses like ours.

• Order beer. We know there is no shortage of good beer out there. We produce beer in small batches in Santa Cruz, where we’ve taken a lot of local input to refine our recipes and provide world class, fresh local beer. Each onsite or online purchase helps us to maintain our operation and increases the chance we will survive the year ahead.

• Leave a tip. NuBo was able to provide more than $3,000 to our taproom employees in the first month we offered online sales, through our Pandemic Employee Relief Fund. You can help us continue to support NuBo team members by adding a tip to your order.
