D & M Wine & Liquor Company

D&M was founded by a couple of guys in the '30s who went around opening stores and abandoning them when they ran up bills. There are a few around with the initials D&M. Our store was purchased by our employer's father, Joe Politz, in 1959. Now we say D&M stands for Dad and Mom, and that is the current owners, Mike and Karen Politz. On a good day we have about 200 different Champagnes in all the various sizes. We blind taste all our wine and the tasting group is notoriously tough. We argue a lot and we're spoiled rotten.
